Your Toy Library Coordinators
The continued success of our service relies on the tireless efforts of our friendly and knowledgeable Coordinators, Claire, Martha and Maggie.

We have three wonderful Coordinators running the show at Kew Toy Library! Between them, they share a warmth, love and commitment to the cause!
Since 2011, Claire has had a long association with toy libraries. She has been a Toy Library Coordinator at Hastings Toy Library and had been a member of the Toy Libraries Australia committee for 10 years. Claire has been the Senior Coordinator at Kew Toy Library since May 2023. She loves interacting with families, sharing toy knowledge and finding out what their favourite toys are!

Maggie began her toy library journey with Kew Toy Library as a member in 2018, then began to volunteer in 2020. Maggie became a Coordinator in early 2023 and runs the Saturday sessions, as well as the Thursday 'Stay & Play' sessions in 2024.
Between them, our coordinators share an understanding of children's milestone developmental stages as well as offering excellent suggestions for toys so you are in good hands when you visit Kew Toy Library.

Martha has been associated with Kew Toy Library since late 2021. Originally assisting as a Volunteer, she ran the Friday sessions but now is a Casual Coordinator, popping up every now and then!

Your Toy Library President
Hi, I’m Serena Huang, and I’m delighted to be the new President of the Kew Toy Library in 2025. Kew Toy Library is a fantastic community resource, making play more accessible, sustainable, and fun for families. It’s a place where children explore, parents connect, and a love of learning through play is shared. I’m excited to help KTL continue to thrive and support local families.

Of course, none of this would be possible without our incredible Co-ordinator, Claire, our dedicated committee, and the many volunteers who give their time to keep KTL running. A big thank you to them all!

A little about me—I live in Kew East with my husband and our two toddlers. My background is in hotel management, with experience in top-tier hotels across Australia and China. I also spent 10 years in the wine export industry before shifting my focus to children's products. In 2023, I launched a kids' clothing brand, which I now manage full-time.
