Ride with us at the refurbished Kew Traffic School

Yes, it’s true! We’re excited to bring you our annual member event (in person!) - a way for us to say a big thank you for supporting us - which is appreciated every year, but especially so after that year that was 2020.

From 9.15am - 11.15am Saturday 12 December, Kew Toy Library members can pedal, park, broom and zoom at the Kew Traffic School for a morning of thrills and spills. Tickets to our member event are free and places are limited, so book yours today!

Help your little one develop important road safety skills and gain confidence on their bicycle, tricycle or scooter and most importantly HAVE FUN!

Book your ticket NOW! Limited numbers due to current restrictions on outdoor gatherings. With only 50 tickets up for grabs, you won’t want to miss out.

  • 1 x ticket each for every child and adult (children under 12 months don’t require a ticket)

  • First in best dressed

  • To minimise high touch interactions, this year there will be no sausage sizzle or food provided. Please BYO any food, snacks or drinks.

  • Door prizes up for grabs!

Come and visit us soon!

Have you been in to see Ayse since we re-opened on 17 November? She is so excited about seeing all of your faces again.

Come and say hello, browse the shelves and check out the new toys, Ayse has been busy during lockdown 😉 Restock with new toys in time for the holidays. A reminder that our opening hours haven’t changed:

Tuesday: 9.30am - 11.30am

Wednesday: 2.30pm - 4.30pm and 7.00pm - 9.00pm

Friday: 10.30am - 12.30pm

Saturday: 9.30am - 2.00pm

One way traffic at Kew Toy Library

When you do drop by, make sure to enter through the front glass sliding doors and exit through the side door.

No entry via the side door is permitted - this applies to returns or in library browsing or a combination of the two.

Not only does this help us meet the social distancing requirements, it also allows us to monitor how many people are in the library at any one time.

Stuck for gift ideas?

Not sure what gift to get a child? We’re all familiar with the uncertainty of will they or won’t they like it? Do they already have one?

Instead of buying something new that will ultimately end up in land fill, why not give a Kew Toy library gift voucher, the present that truly lasts all year.

As well as being zero waste, children can choose the toys they’re interested in or discover the latest and best at the Kew Toy Library. There are six and twelve month voucher options available and look fantastic. Go green, shop locally and be mindful this festive season. Ask Ayse for more information.
